Old topshop dressing room antics
River island boots; Gap cropped jeans, calvin klein belt
Old picture I came across. Currently going through a large wardrobe edit, and I find that most of the stuff I have left is beige, black, brown, stone or grey. On the bright side, I bought a multicoloured dress with strategic cut outs my mother will barely approve of. Oh and balmain-style bandagey booties from kurt geiger for a bargain £19 from £140. I've discovered things are oh so much nicer when I cheat the system and get them for way less than their rrp. The only downer is the fact that I now have 4 pairs of black ankle boots that are only slightly different from each other. I'm going to pretend not to notice.
I know this has nothing to do with fashion, but hey, I have strong interests in humanitarian/economical/political issues so here goes- interesting post on the pervorcracy that I found linked on xojane.
A pair of lita-alikes I can co-sign. I thought the litas only looked good on some people and worn in particular ways, and in other scenarios I found them clumpy and ungainly. Although these might end up the same way, they have a little extra something (probably the red laces and the fact that i'm a sucker for those d-rings).
A few things that have caught my eye lately. I'm seriously contemplating getting a two-piece, it's unreal the way ashley rocks it. The other two on the sides and the second one are from knightcat; I've been thinking of what to do with my hair, and i'm really feeling this blunt cut, so will probably be heading down that road. The shoes in the last picture are so mine in a couple of months; the shoes making the round on the web from the urban outfitters aw press day are so hot; These are my favourite, and maybe the chloe doc copies.
my bare bones shopping list so far for the summer, probably in prep for aw:
basic black jeans
urban outfitters leopard print boots
navajo/aztec print backpack or a leather one...or both
I find i'm more a fan of shopping for aw rather than ss, don't know why, I just never get on that huge summer hype.
